Welcome to the HPS South Pennine Group's Website

Based in Sheffield and North Derbyshire, we are one of over 40 local groups of Hardy Plant Society members.

Next Event: Come and join us at our Spring Plant Sale - on Saturday 18th May and Sunday 19th May. We will have lots of good garden plants for sale, lovingly grown and propagated by our members. Join us in Sheffield Botanical Gardens near the top of the road leading into the gardens from Thompson Road. Free entry, refreshments available, everyone welcome.

Plant Sale opening hours: Saturday 18th May: 12.30-3.30pm
                                              Sunday 19th May: 10.30am-1.30pm

The Hardy Plant Society is a charity formed in 1957 which aims to stimulate interest in growing hardy herbaceous plants and to conserve older, rarer and less well-known varieties to prevent their loss. It is an international society and in the UK there are members' groups in many areas.
